Re-admission Duration Exemption” (RDE) means The student who has successfully completed particular year/semester of any subject with similar syllabus, in the examination conducted by the other board or University will be exempted from certain courses of these Programs. If course exemption is sanctioned, the student need not appear in the Examination for that course. But no previous performance will be reported in the Mark sheet. Only mark of exemption i.e; 'RDE' is put against exempted course.
But if 75% syllabus of previous & Our University does not match, then the student is required to give the complete semester/year as a backlog in which exemption is desired, only the duration of that particular year/semester will be exempted. In that case marksheet of that particular year/semester will be generated as well as its marks will be mentioned in the final marksheet.
For that particular year/semester in which duration has been exempted but papers are not exempted, the students is required to pay the fees of fresh as well as backlog year/semester , both Examination as well as tuition fees.
Re-admission Duration Exemption scheme does not admit the failed students from any other board or University, he will be liable to take admission as a fresh candidate in fresh year/semester. The RDE will be given maximum in II year/IIIsem in case of Graduation courses. This sceme will be applicable only for UG courses.
In this system, the Category in mark sheets is mentioned as “RDE”.
“Credit Conversion Lateral Entry”(LE) means - The University gives credit transfer to certain courses of these programs (**) to the students who have already successfully completed certain other courses offered by this University or other University/Board(+).
The student who successfully completed one course from any recognized board or University and wish as to take admission under credit transfer in other course, will be exempted from certain courses of these Programs. But no previous performance is used for reporting in the Mark sheet. Only mark of exemption i.e; 'LE' is put against exempted course. (e.g; if student has passed PGDCA from any recognized University/Board and take admission in MSc(CS)-III under credit conversion scheme).
This process is called to Credit conversion Lateral Entry System (LE)
In this system, the Category in mark sheets is mentioned as “LE”.
